Across the country farms manage their grazing systems differently; even at a farm level it is likely there will be a variety of management options reflecting different pasture size and quality across the land.
PASTORAL is developing a digital tool to support farmers to increase farm productivity and carbon efficiency through improved pasture performance and management. So, when we are looking at different grass species, grazing patterns and stocking types on farm, how does the PASTORAL platform respond? And how could we ensure the platform provides you with information presented appropiately to ensure it is relevant for your operations?
Join the PASTORAL team on a farm visit to learn about and discuss:
- How the data from the PASTORAL platform is comparing to what you are seeing in the field.
- How you would like to see the data from the platform presented.
- What difference your grazing system makes to the PASTORAL algorithms and how the platform responds.
All invited! You do not need to be participating in the PASTORAL project to attend this event.
The workshop will include lunch and a farm walk; please let us know if you have any food or accesibility requeriments.
