PASTORAL FIELD LAB SERIES

Join one of our on-farm workshops (see locations below) where we will take a look at the fields being measured by Pastoral, explore the satellite data being produced, see how it compares to other ways of measuring grass, and discuss how it will be used to inform grazing and cutting plans.
We will also discuss the grazing management and satellite data from other participating farms, and have an opportunity to:
- Learn more about and discuss the technology behind Pastoral
- Identify any gaps in the data
- Consider and identify the range of data needs for farm businesses to optimise pasture management
- Map other ways in which satellite data could help support improved farming practice – biomass and carbon modelling
