Dairy farmers in the south west want to explore whether a mob grazing approach can improve heavy clay soil health, benefit pasture composition and reduce intestinal worm burden (by enabling grazing less close to the ground).
We are looking for 2-3 more farms to host trials on similar soil types. Ideally, all farms will be using Agrinett, so already collecting data on grass covers, rotation movements, practice events, etc. Trials will be carried out over 3-5 years to build up an evidence base. The group will be supported by Soil Association farming advisor and external researchers. Conventional and organic farmers welcome.
