What impact have three field labs had on your farm?
In this short film, innovative farmer, Nick Freeth tells us why he got involved with the network - and how the field labs have benefitted his business.
Nick farms 250 acres at Manor Farm near Cricklade. He's now taking part in his third field lab, with the Wilts Soil and Roots Innovators.
In this short film, he talks about the impact of the first field labs, using Uddermint to treat mastitis, and using the Obsalim technique for herd observation and feed adjustments. He talks about his hopes for his current group and for the network, and why Nick thinks farmer-led research is important.
You can now join the network for free. You'll only need to contribute when you get involved in some field labs.
