Kate Still

Kate is a specialist in animal health and welfare. Her focus is working with livestock farmers to improve husbandry and production efficiency. With a BSc Honours Agriculture Kate's career to date has included practical farming (predominantly dairy and sheep), farm business consultancy and providing advice to farmers on agri-environment schemes and habitat conservation on farmland (botanical specialism). Kate has been coordinating field labs since the launch of Innovative Farmers, on topics including mastitis typing, herd observation and iron deficiencies in calves. She also advises more broadly on animal health and welfare issues and has a particular focus on our welfare outcome assessment programme and antibiotic reduction.
