Join us to explore learnings and results from the field lab exploring microbial and nutrient associations of heritage wheats.
This online session provides an opportunity to check-in on the activities of the learning network on Heritage and Diverse Grains. The event will include presentations on key research and development happening in this field from across the UK as well as time for discussion and proposal forming for future field trials. If you are part of the network already, or interested in being a part of it, then register now and we look forward to meeting you online.
Speakers include Fred Price (Gothelney Farm) sharing his experience of bringing a range of different diverse and heritage grains into production; and Henny Lowth, who is currently exploring via her PhD studies how crop management (including varying crop nutrition, herbicide and fungicide regimes) as well as genetics (varietal choice) influence grain nutrient density.

We encourage attendees to bring their questions to the panel through the Q&A, where there will be plenty of time for discussion.
We are grateful to the Rothschild Foundation for funding the Diverse and Heritage Grains field lab learning network.
